In Untitled (2026), Studio 198 presents a stylised landscape shaped by structure, rhythm, and warmth. Working in oil, the composition balances simplified architectural forms with a restrained yet expressive use of colour, allowing the scene to sit between observation and abstraction.
The work draws influence from the spatial reduction and tonal harmony associated with Georges Braque, translating those ideas into a contemporary, painterly language. Buildings are distilled into essential forms, while the surrounding environment is flattened and reordered, emphasising composition over detail.
